Perfect for a Sunday roast and ideal for Easter, this traditional joint is tasty and succulent


This lean, rich lamb comes from our hillside farm where we raise premium, pedigree Closewool lamb.  Our higher level stewadry, animal husbandary, grass feeding and organic practices result in a sweeter, more delicate flavour and a texture we're certain you'll find  more tender than New Zealand or Australian lamb.


Classic roast lamb with rosemary and garlic

Cut a couple of garlic cloves into thin slices and set aside.  With a sharp knife puncture the leg of lamb 1-2cm deep all over the surface, then insert to slivers of garlic into the incisions, along with sprigs of rosemary.  Roast per our Cooking Tips page.

  • Fresh or Frozen Orders

    As standard our meats are vac-packed, frozen, and delivered in insulated packaging to arrive in pristine condition.


    On our non-intensive and traditional farm we freeze meat the same day it is cut so that we can supply meat all year round. We can supply fresh/unfrozen meats but do require advance notice so that we can arrange this for the next animal returning from butchery.

    Our delivery is free to mainland Britain for orders of £75 or more. For orders under this amount mainland UK delivery is £9.95.

    We can deliver to highlands and islands but there is an additional cost. Please call us to arrange noon-mainland delivery on 01598 710321.


    Delivery Time Frames
    Any orders made by 12 noon on Mondays will be dispatched from here the next morning and be with you normally by 12 on Wednesday. Likewise, orders made by 12 noon on Wednesdays will arrive by 12 noon on Friday.

    Our courier will leave the box in a safe place if you are not there (as it is perishable) but it is preferable for you to pop your order in the freezer/fridge as soon as possible - especially in the warmer months.


    Meat is packed in purpose-made ice packs and insulated packaging and sent by overnight courier to arrive with you in pristine condition It will easily stay fully frozen for the journey to you.
